Ceri

Principal Hand Therapist

Ceri graduated from Curtin University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. After developing a passion for hand therapy and splinting during her studies, she quickly moved into the hand and upper limb specialty. Ceri spent 10 years working in private practice across Perth, establishing and growing clinics alongside leading hand surgeons. She also worked at Perth Children's Hospital, where she gained valuable experience managing congenital and paediatric hand conditions and developed a particular interest in custom splinting for infants and children.

After relocating to Sydney more than 10 years ago, Ceri continued to work across a number of private hand therapy practices before opening Bowral Hand Therapy in 2022. She moved to the Southern Highlands in 2023 and now enjoys life on a small farm with her family, embracing everything the region has to offer while becoming an active part of the local community.

Ceri is an Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association and has also achieved Certification in Hand Therapy through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. She enjoys treating complex upper limb injuries, brachial plexus injuries, paediatric conditions and Dupuytren's contracture, and has a particular passion for developing creative splinting solutions that help patients achieve the best possible functional outcomes.
