HOW IT WORKS
Your Consultation
Your first appointment
Initial consultations are 45–60 minutes at a cost of $140 (with subsequent appointments at $110). To assist in determining your diagnosis and providing the best care, please bring:
- Relevant X-rays or scans
- Doctor's referral (if applicable)
Splints, casts & equipment
During your treatment, your therapist may recommend splints, casts, or specialised equipment to support your recovery. Please note that these may incur additional costs.
Working with surgeons & specialists
We work closely with local surgeons and specialists from surrounding areas. Where appropriate, your therapist may recommend a consultation with a hand surgeon for further assessment and expert option.
Bookings & cancellations
We send a confirmations email when you book and SMS reminder the day before your appointment. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL?
Referrals
Surgeons, GP's, rheumatologists
Private
Patients
A referral is not required for private patients. We work closely with surgeons, GP's, rheumatologists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated high-quality care.
GPCCMPs, TCAs
GP Chronic Disease Management
We accept GP Chronic Disease management plans, which provide Medicare rebates for eligible patients.
CTP, DVA, WC
Funded & scheme patients
Referrals are required for treatment funded under :
- Workers compensation
- Compulsory third party (CTP)
- Department of veterans affairs (DVA)

Private Health & HICAPS
We provide HICAP services for same-day claims, enabling instant reimbursement for part of your consultation fee through your private health fund.
Your therapist may be a physiotherapist or occupational therapist - your health funds may reimburse different amounts based on the treating profession. We recommend checking your coverage with your insurer.

Funded & Scheme Patients
Custom made splints must be submitted directly to your health fund for potential reimbursement under "aids & appliances."
The level of rebate will depend on your individual cover and eligibility.
